I saw these at the market last week being offered for sale and I ask Ciejay , "honey what will the oeople do with these ugly things" and she said that "The Thai people besides eating them will offer them as an offering at the spirit houses to ask for a special blessing and to ask for directions in their life and to drive away bad spirits and so on and soo forth" . Have you ever heard this before and have you ever seen them offered as an offering at spirit houses ??? Malcom
I have seen and been at the ceramoney for the wifes decesed parents in Ubon more than one time. there was always a cooked pig head.
